Virtual Beach Party

Need we say any more?

The point is to celebrate life and being together. Where else can one be who they truly are than at the shore where the land meets the water and the two harmonize sounds, sights and scents that delight the senses?

For the times when we can't actually dip our toes in the sand, we can still come together and share some smiles.

When the only reprieve from the midday sun is your beach umbrella, it's definitely time for an iced tea! It's not the same without the smell of the [insert ideal water body of preference here] air that's refreshing and enticing, but the smell of the tea can almost take me there....

What set of beach-themed images would be complete without the quintessential palm tree that lets the beneficiary of its shade feel the sense of ease that accompanies a moment experienced a large body of tropical water laps the shoreline. Aahh!

How To Make Iced Tea:

No proper virtual beach party is complete without an ice-cold beverage. Below are all the details needed to make your perfect celebration libation.

1) The planners and preparers will fare well with our first option. It's as easy as 1, 2, 3.

First, combine tea bag(s) and cold water (1 bag/8oz). Second, place in the fridge overnight to steep. Third, remove from fridge and serve.

2) For those more prone to flying by the seat of their pants, we have an option for you as well...

First, bring water to a boil and pour over your tea bag (1/8oz). Second, steep for ~2minutes;

Pour tea over a large glass full of ice and serve.

Serving Options:

  • Just Tea, Please: Tea and ice and everything nice (but nothing else)

  • Lemon / Lime Twist: Pinch a sliver of lemon or lime (or both) into the glass

  • Spritz Me:  Add a dash of your favourite carbonated water (flavoured or plain)

  • Twist & Spritz: You know where we're going with this one...add both a splash of fun water and few drops of natural citrus to the mix. It'll be an all out extravaganza for your mouth.

  • To Sweeten Or Not To Sweeten? That is up to you, for we must all make our own sugary choices. As such, please feel free to add as much or as little sweetness to any of the above options, as per your personal preferences.
