In this installment, we'll unravel the secrets to unlocking the full spectrum of flavours and aromas present in each cup, inviting you to savour the symphony of sensations that await.

Before we dive into the tealightful tasting experience, it's essential to prepare properly. Start by selecting high-quality tea leaves, preferably loose-leaf varieties that allow for optimal flavour extraction. Then, please do ensure your water is heated to the appropriate temperature, as different types of tea require different brewing conditions to achieve their full potential. Finally, choose a vessel that enhances the tasting experience—a porcelain gaiwan, a traditional clay teapot, or a glass teacup—all of which can elevate the sensory journey.


Observation: Engaging the Senses

As you pour hot water over the tea leaves, take a moment to observe the transformation taking place. Notice the leaves unfurling and releasing their aroma, creating a symphony of scents that dance through the air. Pay attention to the colour of the liquor as it deepens and intensifies, offering clues about the tea's flavour profile and strength.


Aroma: Inhaling the Essence
